WHY WE NEED WATER • Water is highly important in many different ways, for example: • If we did not have any water, what would the world be like? • Well it would probably be very dry and all plants would die. • 70% of our body is made up of water! • Everyone (even animals!) needs to drink water to stay alive!

FACTS ABOUT WATER! DID YOU KNOW. . ? • There is the same amount of water on earth from when it was formed! • 75% of our brain is made up of water and 75% of a living tree is water! • A healthy person can drink up to 48 cups of water a day. SAVE THE FISH!

EARTH FACTS • 90% of our fresh water is located in Antarctica • Less than 1% of water (0. 37% to be exact) is drinkable. • 68. 7% of our water is trapped in icebergs. • 40 billion hours are spent collecting water alone in Africa.

HOW TO SAVE WATER • While brushing your teeth make sure to turn off the tap as this can save a lot of water. • Make sure to press the right button in the toilets in your classroom do not press the big one if not needed. • Make sure not to leave a tap running as this can waste a lot of water. • Try have a shower more often then a bath as a bath can waste up to 8 litres of water.
