Trip Itinerary Detailed itinerary will go home prior to trip Arrive at RMS gym at 6: 30 a. m. on Monday, April 30 th (no later than 6: 45 a. m. !) Departure is 7: 00 a. m. – sharp! Arrive at RMS gym around 5: 30 p. m. on Wednesday, May 2 nd.

Payments The total cost of the trip is $330. This trip is our only field trip for the 2011/20012 school year. The payments are the following: – $110 due September 28 th – students not meeting this deadline will be placed on a waiting list – $110 due November 30 th – $110 due February 1 st – The initial payment reserves the student’s place on the trip. However if the final payment is not made by February 1 st the student will lose his/her place. – Student electing to no longer go on the trip can receive a full refund until February 29 th, after which only the final payment of $110 will be refunded.

Trip Participation Requirements Students accruing two days of ISS for a discipline infraction or for a series of discipline infractions are not eligible for the trip. Students receiving OSS for any discipline infraction are not eligible for the trip. Students who are not passing 4 of the 5 core classes are not eligible for the trip. Students who have failed more than 1 connections class in any 9 week period are not eligible for the trip. Determination of grades is decided by April 20 th. If a student is taken off the trip for disciplinary or academic reasons no refunds will be given

Supervision Teacher chaperones are assigned at 1: 12 teacher/ student ratio. Seven chartered coach buses are scheduled. One administrator attends the trip. Handles discipline issues during the trip Parents could be called and requested to pick up their child should that student commit any act that is deem egregious by the administrator. Students are 4 to a room (their selection) – no teachers in student rooms - rooms have two double beds. Girls and boys are on separate buses and in separate hotels. Two police officers are on duty all night per hotel. Doors are taped at the end of the evening. If tape is broken, parents are called to pick up their child.
