Extra Considerations: v Great places to look when answering student questions: • State SAP page • Federal Maintain Student SAP Data page • Records and Enrollment – Student Grades page (not on the Student Service • Center- e. g. Student Center shows an “F” grade, when could be a “Z” grade) Enrollment Request Search page (allows you to see when the student dropped/withdrew from courses) v The RB (appeal form) has been updated to streamline the process for students (and us) with situations that are COVID related. v The R 2 checklist (This process has not changed) is on students that were on an academic plan from the end of spring 2020. Those enrolled in summer will be reviewed first. If a student failed their plan, they would have the option to submit an appeal. v Per normal process, we will send a follow up email upon completion of the snapshot. Despite an increase in Summer WCG, since we also have the exclusions, we are expecting to see similar summer numbers as last year.

v There are some select students that will now be in a disqualification status and aid has already disbursed for summer. The students aid will be pulled back until they submit an appeal and it is reviewed and approved. (Process has not changed) v Communication templates have been adjusted regarding updates to policy v The SAP handbook has been updated with the Spring 2020 policy changes. The changes are located at the top as well as in their appropriate sections. v Communications team is working on updating the COVID webpage and 411. v We have a query to identify students that opt into the pass/ fail grade changes until June 1 • This query will be monitored daily after the initial run process and will manually recalculate SAP on them. Students will not need to self-identify. v Academic Advisors have been provided a 'heads up' but we will be talking to and updating them in more detail.
