SIA Recommendations • • Satellites must be an essential component of future critical communications networks; Satellite capacity and equipment must be prepurchased and pre-positioned; Satellite operators and personnel must be credentialed as first responders; and, Satellite spectrum must be preserved, and protected from interference.
