INFORMATION ABOUT SANERC • Semahat Arsel Nursing Education and Research Center (SANERC) was established in December 27, 1992 in the American Hospital. • It is the first and only training and research center established for health professionals in Turkey. 5

VKV Nursing Fund Project Support Program Vehbi Koç Foundation Nursing Fund has been supporting special professional development projects carried out by nurses since 2003. The main purpose of the program is to contribute to the development and strengthening of the nursing profession in our country. The budget allocated for the program is 120000 TL. It has been funded 66 projects in total since 2019. In 2020, it has been decided to support 3 projects. 26/03/2020 SANERC PRESENTATION 12

VKV Nursing Fund Project Support Program Project Acceptance Criteria: * Be original, *Have the ability to contribute to science, technology, economy, cultural and social life when it ends, *Have ability to transfer the results to nursing practices, to make changes / initiate a new application, to improve patient care results, *Be the basis for the production of new projects, 13

Project Acceptance Criteria: *Contribute to the improvement of nursing education, management and practices, *Able to prove the effect of nursing care, , *Reflect the collaboration of nurses working in the academic and practical fields, *Be planned to be made with an interdisciplinary team preferably in Turkey, *Research projects in the clinic and / or in the field, carried out with quantitative, qualitative or mixed methods are supported. 14

VKV Nursing Fund Project Support Program Researches That Will Not Be Evaluated: *Descriptive studies with small samples, *Scale adaptation studies, *Basic science researches in the laboratory, *Documentaries about history of nursing profession etc. and / or oral history studies about people who have provided important services in this field, *Secondary researches such as systematic compilation and meta-analysis will not be evaluated. 15

The Koç University Journal of Education and Research in Nursing (HEAD) is a scientific and refereed journal that started to be published in 2004. The journal publishes original research, review articles and case reports in all areas related to nursing and health care practice, education and management, and its publication language is Turkish and English. It is offered only in electronic form and open access to readers since 2018. 18
