Tips for Administering the SRI/SPI • Preparation – – – Teacher explains computer procedures in class before going to lab Student places red cup on tower if student needs assistance (West Wind) Computer tech place green dot on correct side of mouse for little ones Create card for each student with name, username, and password Alphabetize cards, line students up alphabetically Place cards in order at computers where they will sit • Login students into SRI to expedite process (teach them how later) • Teacher accompanies students to computer lab to help tech with logging in and troubleshooting • Coach on SAM: enrolling class, saving reports, un-enrolling class filling our spreadsheet • Note on cards & spreadsheet if students didn’t finish/were absent • Exchange info with coaches you can contact with questions
