Ministry Events Coordinator Others The server assists the priest, prepares the altar; makes sure that what is needed for the celebration is brought, carried, or moved into place. The server is concerned with almost every aspect of the celebration of the liturgy. An EMHC is a layperson formally instituted to distribute Holy Communion during Mass. After proper training and instruction, EMHCs are called to minister to those in our community who are sick or homebound, either to illness or old age, that cannot attend Mass. This ministry helps to facilitate the public prayer of the Church in the Liturgy of the Word. Lectors strive to make the Liturgy of the Word as meaningful as possible for the worshipping assembly, celebrated in a way that fosters meditation. The music ministry strives to lead and inspire our community family to praise God with our instruments and voices. Musicians, cantors, and members with choir experience are welcome Their role is to bring concerns that affect the whole community to the attention of the Senior Priest. The members of the council represent the community ministries and organizations. The ushers greet you, help you find a seat, count attendance, pass the collection baskets, offer assistance, and ensure an orderly process throughout the Mass. Disinfect and sanitize chapel after use. Catholic Fraternal Organization guided by the principles of charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism that support widows & families of deployed military, vocations, victims of natural disaster, youth activities, programs for those who are intellectually challenged, Prolife, and community. CWOC annually funds two scholarships, help with community events (picnic, receptions), and hostess for funeral receptions. Supports, empowers, & educates women in spirituality, leadership, & service - mission of National Council of Catholic Women. Is a process through which men and women enter the Catholic Church. It includes several stages marked by study, prayer and rites at Mass. They undergo a process of conversion as they study the Gospel, profess faith in Jesus and the Catholic Church, and receive the sacraments of baptism, confirmation and Holy Eucharist. Engage school-aged children in prayer and activities to encourage them in developing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and expressing their faith according to the teachings of the Catholic Church. Providing outreach opportunities through our church website for visitors as well as internal communication for our congregation. Opportunities include reviewing and verifying listed information is consistent, accurate and up-to-date, and updating announcements on a weekly basis. The mission of the events committee is to host social events within our community, across all demographics, including families, to foster a sense of camaraderie and fellowship.
