Plan A • • For Store 5415 – Reverse Proton Studies (10 hours) – Recycler VDPA 1 work and Studies – Return to stacking by end of day shift, but do not transfer to the Recycler. – Stop stacking 2 am(? ) for cool down. Terminate 5415 at 5 am on Thursday – 5 am - 7 am: Safety system experts do 2+ hours of interlock testing, with no one allowed in Main Injector nor Tevatron enclosures. – 5 am - 9 am: Safety system experts test B 0 interlocks. If extra cool down time is required, we may turn off stacking prior to 5 am to expedite the work. – 5 am - 8: 30 am: Linac Studies? – 6 am - 3 pm: Booster access time. Booster needs a one hour cool down time. – 8 am - Noon: Nu. MI access. Nu. MI needs a ~2. 25 hour cool down time. Mike Andrews will organize the necessary LOTO. – 7 am- Noon: Access allowed in the Tevatron enclosures while Safety system testing is in progress for Main Injector. – 7 am - 5 pm: D 0 Access time. D 0 will need to open up the NW side, but think they can complete the work in 10 hours. – 8: 30 am - Noon: NTF patient treatment and downstream Linac studies. – 9 am - 5 pm: CDF Access time. – Noon - 5 pm: Linac access. – Noon - 5 pm: Access allowed to Main Injector while safety system testing goes on in Tevatron. – Noon - 5 pm: Mini. Boo. NE access. – 3 pm-5 pm: Booster Safety system testing. – 5 pm: All keys back. Turn back on. After testing (Thursday evening shift) – Transfer from the Accumulator to Recycler. – Possibly one iteration of stack and transfers while time is given to Tevatron experts to prepare for the next shot. Put in next store – Back to normal operations.
