Digital Footprint Everything you post online is part of your digital footprint! Make sure you have a POSITIVE digital footprint! After this presentation is over go delete everything that would contribute to a negative footprint. Utilizing it in the Classroom As a future educator, having a professional social media page, you can keep parents and students up to date on important dates and information within your class! Students can access your social media page for assignment notices and next day preparation! Parents can contact you via your media page and ask how his/her child is doing within your class and any concerns they may have! Find articles that you found through your networking that students can read!
Safety Issues Make sure there isn’t any personal information posted. Include appropriate pictures (back of heads preferred). Get approval from students parents to post pictures and such of their children. Monitor posts, NOTHING NEGATIVE relating job. Keep social media private.
