SAE DSRC TC Documents: Conclusion • SAE DSRC TC main activity: Publish high-quality standards

SAE DSRC TC Documents: Conclusion • SAE DSRC TC main activity: Publish high-quality standards to support academia, industry and government’s Connected and Automated Vehicle (CAV) research, deployment and regulation effort • Message definition and data dictionary are communication technology agnostic while application requirements/recommendations can be repurposed • Expanded from V 2 V-V 2 I safety to mobility, environment, and safety for a wide variety of vehicle types (heavy truck, motorcycle, etc. ) and road users (pedestrian, cyclist, public safety worker, etc. ) • Actively collaborating with V 2 X-related, other SAE teams (e. g. , maintain common data/message set, coordinate use cases and application requirements) • Coordinating and collaborating with other SDOs and organizations (ISO, ETSI, 3 GPP) to promote global adaption of SAE standards to optimize globalized design of V 2 X applications • Always looking for experts to propose new work to enable/enhance CAV system We welcome CAV experts to come join us Move forward together!
