Tier 1 Baseline Goals and Activities National Apprenticeship System Building Overview Developing structures that ensure all RAPs in the state have the features of highquality apprenticeship. Reporting Requirements and Grant Management Expectations
Implementation Ramp-up and Co-Enrollment Grantees should begin implementation right away. Do not wait for SAE/ASE grants to be expended. Co-enrollment with other funding sources to support apprenticeship encouraged. Maximize resources available to participants in apprenticeship and other job training programs. Can include training (RTI, OJL, OJT), supportive services, and other activities supported by ETA funds. Important: Cannot be enrolled in more than one state apprenticeship expansion grant. Quarterly Narrative Report Requirements Details all grant activities that occurred in the quarter, including: An analysis of industry sectors and occupations participating in RA. Quarterly Performance Report Requirements Required to track and report: Total participants served Diversity of apprenticeship – percentage of participants served that are underrepresented populations Total participants who enter a RAP Total registered apprentices that complete a RAP Total participants who receive a degree or other type of credential during period of performance (including RA Completion Certificate) Total number of newly created RAPs in a new industry 14
Performance Outputs and Outcomes “Participant” is defined as an individual who is the direct recipient of a grantfunded service in a registered apprenticeship program or a preapprenticeship program leading to a registered apprenticeship.
