Meter Isolator required for: Existing installations § Any alterations and/or upgrades that requires disconnection/reconnection § Change of metering via formal request (Form A) • Requiring disconnection and reconnection Form A requests include § Additional tariffs (PV/OPCL) 3|
Meter Isolator Not Required for: Existing installations Meter Change: § Retailer initiated meter change § Change of tariff with no metering change § Multiple occupancy installations* § Where meter is remote from main switchboard* § Meter mounted on SA Power Networks poles* Reconnection of Supply (inc. after 12 months) § No electrical work has occurred on consumer mains/main switchboard which normally requires SA Power Networks disconnection 4|
