Some jobs will require certain skills, experience or qualifications pre employment. College An educational institution or establishment, in particular one providing higher education or specialized professional or vocational training. University A high-level educational institution in which students study for degrees and academic research is done. University degree’s are required to gain certain jobs. Apprenticeship On an apprenticeship, you're employed to do a real job while studying for a formal qualification, usually for one day a week either at a college or training centre. Usually during apprenticeships you will be paid a lower amount until you are fully qualified. Volunteering Work for an organization without being paid. People can often gains skills or experience for jobs or educational courses whilst volunteering.
