Point answering the following questions: 1)Where is she from, where did she study, what did she study? 2) Why does she draw and paint food? 3) What medium (paint) does she use? How is it made 4) What is her ‘creative process’? 5) What artists inspire her work? This should take 30 mins to an hour approx.

Final task: Create your own Joel Penkman inspired biscuit/ sweet composition. Look carefully at how she arranges her biscuits that you drew in the previous task. Task 1) Collect biscuits and sweet that you have in the house. Remember you are going to draw/ paint these so choose carefully. Take photos of your different compositions or draw them from life. This task will take around an hour. Task 2) Carefully draw and then paint/ use coloured pencil to add colour. This task will take around 2 hours.
