Rules & Regulations • Attendance will be taken at the beginning of the lecture / class. • Maximum of 5 mins of relaxation time can be given at the end of each lecture / class. • Students will be permitted into the class if late, but no attendance will be given. • Attendance for practical classes will be taken at the beginning of the practical session. • Students have to perform minimum 2 hour 45 minutes practical class to get the attendance. Respected lab in charges has to ensure this.
• A student should compulsory have 80% attendance to appear for any examinations (sessional / semester). • Students below 80% attendance will be permitted to appear for exams only if he/she v. Has Medical Certificate (only serious cases). v. Has any valid reason which can be clarified by class teacher with evident proof. • The continuous mode marks for students having below 80% attendance will be considered ZERO (0) irrespective of any excuses including medical issues.
• Re-sessional for the absentees will be conducted only in the following cases v. Accident issues v. Attending wedding (own brother / sister only) with prior information to concerned class teacher and subject-in-charge with proof (invitation card). v. Any medical issues (only emergency cases). • Students should submit the Medical Certificate within one week upon restarting of the classes. • Students applying for leave should submit an application, 3 days prior of taking leave with proof (invitation card).
• The student participating in any extra-curricular activities (intra / inter college) will be given attendance only with the prior notification from the respective-in-charge heads. • Any form of misbehaviour / misconduct during class, strict action will be taken. • Usage of mobile phones during the lecture is strictly prohibited. • The mobile phone of the student not following the rules will be handed over to the campus officer and strict action will be taken against him/her. • Mobile phone usage in class is allowed only under the supervision / permission of the subject-in-charge (tutorials).
• Any form of ringing of the phone / message beeps heard, the same procedure will be followed. • All students should be present 5 mins before the starting of exam during any sessional / semester exams. • All students should carry the required number of pens, pencils, scale, eraser etc. during examination. No stationary items will be asked from any student for the same. • No electronic gadgets will be permitted into the exam hall. • Any form of malpractice found during examination, strict action will be taken against the student.
