Time quarters, extra periods & intermissions Time – timeouts Properly start/stop clock Sound warning signal 15 sec. before expiration of an intermission & another signal 15 sec. Later Sound warning signal 15 sec. before the expiration of a 30 -sec. time out & another signal 15 sec. Later Sound the horn 15 seconds before the end of 20 -sec. for replacing a disqualified player, injured player or player directed to leave the game Properly start timer
