His Theology
He explained this in his memorial lecture to the Late Easow Mar Timothios, Episcopa of the Mar Thoma Church. 2011 as: Mission as Liberation and Community Living Introduction Mission is community oriented. It will have dynamism only if community living is made possible. On this planet earth no one can remain or live as an isolated individual. We can live only in relation to the other and or to the nature.
Mission of God revealed in Jesus Christ and guided by the Holy Spirit liberates people from individualism, inequalities, marginalization of the poor and weaker sections of the society and leads them to a life in abundance and to a relationship where community living is possible with God, fellow beings and nature.
Mission is therefore liberative. It is in the liberation of creation that community living is made possible. This is the experience of the Kingdom Community. Mission is to serve for the fulfillment of the prayer: “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven – Amen”
We wish Thirumeni a long period of Episcopal Ministry in God's vineyard.
