ROYAL FLEET AUXILIARY • The Royal Fleet Auxiliary (RFA) delivers worldwide logistic and operational support to Royal Navy military operations. They are the uniformed civilian branch of the Naval Service, staffed by UK merchant sailors. • Fully integrated into front-line warships, the RFA is an essential element of how the Royal Navy operates with freedom around the globe. MARITIME RESERVES • The Maritime Reserve is made up of two vital, valued forces: the Royal Naval Reserve, and the Royal Marines Reserve.
