1. Meet with Teacher Every group will meet with me weekly, but we will still have some whole group instruction as well. Bring a pen or pencil and your ELA notebook. With you will work on: v Stories and Reading Skills v Comprehension v Writing Skills v Test-taking Strategies v Assessment Preparation

1. Meet with Teacher Sit at the kidney table… Bring all materials: ELA notebook and pencil. Pay close attention. Stay on task. Be respectful. Work the entire time. Follow all directions.

4. Vocabulary Having time to focus on words is critical to your development as a reader, writer, speaker and listener. You will work on: v Vocabulary Words v Practice work with the Vocabulary Words v Add to your knowledge of interesting words v Prefixes, Suffixes and Root Words

Read to Self Any time you are finished with your work, you should be reading independently. REMEMBER to become better at reading, you need to read; therefore, any extra time should be dedicated to reading.

Behavior Note: If you are not doing what you’re supposed to do at any station, you will practice appropriate behavior during lunch or after school. Detention will be assigned as needed.
