Rotary Alumni Global Service Award Recognizes an outstanding Rotary alumnus or alumna whose professional achievements and service activities illustrate the impact of Rotary’s programs. 3

RAGSA Criteria 1) Demonstrate the social benefits of Rotary’s programs through extraordinary service activities and professional achievement 2) Achieve distinction in their profession or vocation 3) Perform sustainable service affecting the international community 4

RAGSA Eligibility • Any Rotary alumnus or alumna • Must be living, is not a past RI director or Rotary Foundation trustee, must not have received the global award before. 5

Alumni Association of the Year Award Recognizes an alumni association that has displayed heightened awareness of the significant role that alumni play in Rotary. 9

AAot. Y Criteria 1. Formally-chartered by Rotary International 2. Enhance the awareness of the value of alumni within Rotary 3. Involve a majority of association members in a project/activity over the past 12 months 4. 5. Have an online presence 6. Key dates • 1 July: online nomination forms open. • 15 September: online nomination forms close. RRFCs work with the RC and RPIC to select one winner for each award. • 15 October: Deadline for RRFCs to submit zone/regional winners to RI (alumni@rotary. org). • December: Board and Trustee Committees select one recipient of each global award on behalf of the Board and the Trustees. 14

District alumni chairs: preparing a nomination Alumni Assoc. of the Year: Alumni Global Service Award: • Info about the nominee and their program participation • Written answers demonstrating the candidate’s professional distinction, international service, etc. (up to 1000 characters) • Additional documents if available (photo, CV, etc. ) • Info about the association and their leadership • Written answers demonstrating the association’s collaboration with Rotarians and how they demonstrate Rotary’s values. (up to 1000 characters) • Info on up to 2 projects within the past 12 months. • Additional documents if available (photos, etc. ) 18

Role of RRFCs • Until 15 September: receive and collect nominations from RI from your zone/region 21

Role of RRFCs • After 15 September, involve the Rotary public image coordinators (RPIC) and Rotary coordinators (RC) in your decision • Before the 15 October deadline, select one winner for each award. Submit your choice(s) to alumni@rotary. org 22
