History of Donor Naming Opportunities • History of Donor Naming Opportunities > May 20, 2013 – Council approved an amendment to the Operating Agreement in order to provide maximum Naming Rights Opportunities to the RBOC and Legacy within the Stadium fence line > RBOC agreed to return to Council for discussion and approval of the pledge amount for the Field Naming rights > Examples of Other Donor Naming Projects: § Tunnels, Historic Moments Photos, Historic Benches, Rose Bushes, Pavilion elements, Locker Room areas, Court of Champions 16
Jackie Robinson Statue • Secured philanthropic gift to support the creation and installation of the first commemorative statue in venue history > Civic, Athletic, and Pasadena Icon, Jackie Robinson in football uniform for Pasadena Junior College • • • Timeline: Completed in Fall 2017 Location: In front of Gate A, within a redesigned rose garden Artist: Brian Hanlon, Hanlon Sculpture Studios Arts & Culture Commission will review on July 12 Initial renderings and location have been reviewed and approved by the Robinson family, including Jackie’s widow Rachel, as well as by the Jackie Robinson Foundation • Community Enhancement: Update plaque at Pepper Street home and add a plaque at the home of Mack Robinson 17
