Boudicca : : : Her husband died and the Romans ignored her and assaulted her daughters. Boudicca gathered an army and burned down three towns including Londinium. Boudicca had 70, 000 men and the Romans 10, 000. The Roman soldiers were better trained and had better tactics. Boudicca’s army retreated but got trapped by the wagons and were killed. Boudicca then poisoned herself. Consul : 2 of these governed Rome for one year and then couldn’t rule again for ten years. Senator : Retired Magistrates who gave advice to the Consuls.
