Notes Today, we are watching the infamous balcony scene. Romeo and Juliet profess their love for one another. We will watch the Zifarelli version as well as Westside Story. While watching you will fill out Venn Diagrams that depict the similarities and differences in the scenes for both.

Project We will focus on the issues in each scene: racism, sexism, classism, and age. You will get into groups and decide which issue you would like to highlight in your modern day take of the scene.
Parameters Your scenes should address modern day issues concerning racism, sexism, classism, or age. They should be original and understandable. Remember to block and project your voice while performing. You will perform on Friday!
