Act III, Scene 1: Morning on a street in Verona l In this scene, a fight breaks out in the street between Mercutio and Tybalt. l Tybalt kills Mercutio. l Romeo then kills Tybalt to avenge Mercutio’s death. l The Prince appears and banishes Romeo from Verona.
