We Must Bear Others’ Weaknesses Romans 15: 1 -2 Now we who are strong ought to bear the weaknesses of those without strength and not just please ourselves. 2 Each of us is to please his neighbor for his good, to his edification. We Should Sacrifice for Others Romans 15: 3 -4 For even Christ did not please Himself; but as it is written, “THE REPROACHES OF THOSE WHO REPROACHED YOU FELL ON ME. ” 4 For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope. The Call to Peace for God’s Glory Romans 15: 5 -6 Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant you to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus, 6 so that with one accord you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Applications 1. We should know that the O. T. Scriptures will always function as instruction for God’s people. 2. We must take seriously the call to put fellow believers’ interests ahead of our own. Gospel of Grace Fellowship ggf. church 4

Three Moves With the Law Repudiated: Romans 3: 20 -21 because by the works of the Law no flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law comes the knowledge of sin. 21 But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, Gospel of Grace Fellowship ggf. church 5

Three Moves With the Law Replaced: 1 Cor. 9: 20 -21 to the Jews I became as a Jew, so that I might win Jews; to those who are under the Law, as under the Law though not being myself under the Law, so that I might win those who are under the Law; 21 to those who are without law, as without law, though not being without the law of God but under the law of Christ, so that I might win those who are without law.
