Families, why not give yourself a living sacrifice for each other? Eph 5: 25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 1 Co 7: 33 But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife. 1 Co 7: 34 There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband. Eph 6: 4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

The Nurture 1) the whole training and education of children (which relates to the cultivation of mind and morals, morals and employs for this purpose, now commands and admonitions, now reproof and punishment) punishment It also includes the training and care of the body 2) whatever in adults also cultivates the soul, esp. by correcting mistakes and curbing passions 2 a) instruction which aims at increasing virtue 2 b) chastisement, chastening, (of the evils with which God visits men for their amendment)

2 Ti 3: 16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: (Nurture) Heb 12: 5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him: (Nurture) Heb 12: 7 If ye endure chastening , God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? (Nurture) Heb 12: 11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby. Admonition 1) admonition, exhortation 1 Co 10: 11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, admonition upon whom the ends of the world are come. Eph 6: 4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Tit 3: 10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject; Pr 1: 8 My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother: mother Pr 6: 20 My son, keep thy father’s commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother: FOR HOW LONG? Don’t grow up to become smarter than the Word of God!

What Kind of living sacrifice is acceptable unto God? I trow not. 10 So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do. do

1 Thess 5: 12 And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you; 13 And to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake. And be at peace among yourselves. 14 Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men. 15 See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. 16 Rejoice evermore. 17 Pray without ceasing. 18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 19 Quench not the Spirit. 20 Despise not prophesyings. 21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 22 Abstain from all appearance of evil. Is there anyone here that does not know what is acceptable to God?

Let’s help with the second point of Reasonable Service. 2. Be not conformed to this world. Jas 4: 4 Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? God whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God Jas 1: 27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world Joh 15: 19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, world therefore the world hateth you. 2 Cor. 6: 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, Keep in mind this is just our reasonable service.

God never asks anything of us that He is not able to perform. 1 Jo 5: 4 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: world and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. Rom 12: 3 God has dealt to every man? 1 Jo 5: 5 Who is he that overcometh the world, world but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? He Ga 1: 4 Who gave himself for our sins, that might deliver us from this present evil world, world according to the will of God and our Father: Ga 6: 14 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world

What is your reasonable service? 1. That ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God. 2. Be not conformed to this world. 3. Be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind. Ro 13: 14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, flesh to fulfil the lusts thereof. 2 Co 5: 17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. Tit 3: 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Ghost This renewing is done by the Holy Ghost We are talking about renovation, complete change.

Eph 4: 22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, man which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; Eph 4: 23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; mind Eph 4: 24 And that ye put on the new man, man which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness (Complete) Col 1: 21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled. (Renovation) Col 1: 22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: Col 3: 10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: Ro 6: 11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. In the heart of your mind!

A renewal, renovation, complete change for the better Rom 6: 12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. 13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: sin but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. 14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: you for ye are not under the law, but under grace. 15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. 16 Know ye not, not that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? righteousness

Rom 6: 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, him that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. Php 1: 10 That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ; 1 Th 5: 21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. What are some things we prove?

Luke 12: 54 ¶ And he said also to the people, When ye see a cloud rise out of the west, straightway ye say, There cometh a shower; and so it is. 55 And when ye see the south wind blow, ye say, There will be heat; and it cometh to pass. 56 Ye hypocrites, ye can discern (Prove) the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time? 57 Yea, and why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right? Mt 16: 2 He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red. Mt 16: 3 And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?

Lu 14: 19 And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused. What should we be proving? Ro 14: 22 Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Ga 6: 4 But let very man prove his own work, work and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. 1 Co 2: 13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual 2 Co 10: 12 For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise. 1 Pe 1: 7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried (Proven) with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: 1 Jo 4: 1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try (Prove) the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Mal 3: 10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

One Spirit Eph 4: 4 There is one body, body and one Spirit, Spirit even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; 5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, baptism 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. 1 Cor 12: 13…. all made to drink into one Spirit Rom 8: 9…. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. Joh 4: 10 Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water 1 Co 10: 4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: drink for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

1 Cor 12: 25 That there should be no schism in the body; body but that the members should have the same care one for another. 26 And whether one member suffer, all the members suffer with it; or one member be honoured, all the members rejoice with it. s in 27 Now ye are the body of Christ, Christ and member particular 1 Co 1: 10 ¶ Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, thing and that there be no divisions among you; you but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment

1 Cor 12: 20 But now are they many members, members yet but one body. 21 And the eye cannot say unto the hand, hand I have no need of thee: thee nor again the head to the feet, feet I have no need of you 22 Nay, much more those members of the body, body which seem to be more feeble (weak), are necessary: necessary

1 Cor 12: 23 And those members of the body, body which we think to be less honourable, upon these we bestow more abundant honour; honour and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness. 24 For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honour to that part which lacked:

more abundant honour to that part which lacked: Those parts which decency requires us to conceal we not only cover, but we endeavour as far as we can to adorn them. The face in the mean time we leave uncovered. The idea is, that in like manner we should not despise or disregard those members of the church who are less favoured than others with spiritual endowments.

Joh 17: 21 That they all may be one; one as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: us that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. Joh 17: 22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: one Joh 17: 23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; one and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me. 2 Co 13: 11 ¶ Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, mind live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you. Ro 15: 6 That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Php 2: 5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Each member has different Gifts Rom 12: 6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, prophecy let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; 7 Or ministry, ministry let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, teacheth on teaching; 8 Or he that exhorteth, exhorteth on exhortation: he that giveth, giveth let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, ruleth with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, mercy with cheerfulness. 1 Cor 12: 3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost 4 Now there are diversities of gifts, gifts but the same Spirit

24 But if all prophesy, and there come in one that believeth not, or one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all: Interpretation of Tongues 1 Cor 14: 27 If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three, and that by course; and let one interpret 28 But if there be no interpreter, interpreter let him keep silence in the church; and let him speak to himself, and to God. 34 ¶ Let your women keep silence in the churches: churches for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. 35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

1 Co 14: 13 Wherefore let him that speaketh in an unknown tongue pray that he may interpret

1 Cor 12: 31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way. 1 Cor 13: 1 ¶ Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. 1 Cor 14: 1 ¶ Follow after charity, charity and desire spiritual gifts, but rather that ye may prophesy 1 Tim 3: 1 ¶ This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.

How to use your Gifts. Or be a Living Sacrifice! Rom 12: 1 ¶ I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. Two choices, one die for Christ or 2 nd live for self. Rom 12: 9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. 10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; 11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;

De 10: 20 Thou shalt fear the LORD thy God; him shalt thou serve, and to him shalt thou cleave, cleave and swear by his name.

Mt 12: 30 He that is not with me is against me; me and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad. Lu 11: 23 He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth Mt 6: 24 No man can serve two masters: masters for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. 1 Jo 2: 19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us. Re 3: 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

Rom 12: 12 Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; 13 Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. 14 Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. 15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.

Rejoicing in hope Joyful and confident expectation of eternal salvation Ne 8: 10 Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength Php 4: 4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: alway and again I say, Rejoice. 1 Th 5: 16 Rejoice evermore 1 Pe 4: 13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; sufferings that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. 2 Co 4: 17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; Ro 5: 2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God

Jer 17: 7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is. is Tit 2: 13 Looking for that blessed hope, hope and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Christ 1 Pe 1: 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, Ro 8: 24 For we are saved by hope: hope but hope that is seen is not hope: hope for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? Ro 8: 25 But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. 1 Jn 3: 2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; him for we shall see him as he is. 3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

patient in tribulation AV-tribulation 21, affliction 17, Trouble AV-endure 11, take patiently 2, tarry behind 1, abide 1, patient 1, suffer Mt 10: 22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. 1 Co 13: 7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things 2 Ti 2: 12 If we suffer <Patient>, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: Heb 12: 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. Heb 12: 3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

Jas 1: 12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. Jas 5: 11 Behold, we count them happy which endure Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, pitiful and of tender mercy. Large Hearted 1 Pe 2: 20 For what glory is it, if, when ye be buffeted for your faults, ye shall take it patiently? patiently but if, when ye do well, and suffer for it, ye take it patiently , this is acceptable (Rom 12: 2) with God. James 1: 3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 4 But let patience have her perfect work, work that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

continuing instant in prayer While you are enduring Lu 11: 5 And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves; 6 For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him? 7 And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee. 8 I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth. 9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. 10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. 1 Th 5: 17 Pray without ceasing.

11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent? 12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion? 13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? If God be for us, who can be against us? 32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Distributing to the necessity of saints 1) to come into communion or fellowship with, to become a sharer, be made a partner 2) to enter into fellowship, join one’s self to an associate, make one’s self a sharer or partner Php 4: 19 But my God shall supply all your need (necessity) according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. 1 Jo 3: 17 But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need (necessity), and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? Ps 126: 6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him. 2 Co 7: 10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. Luke 22: 42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. 43 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him. 44 And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground. 45 And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow, 46 And said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, pray lest ye enter into temptation.

Rom 12: 16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. 17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. 18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. James 2: 4 Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts? 5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? 6 But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats? Luke 14: 7 And he put forth a parable to those which were bidden, when he marked how they chose out the chief rooms; saying unto them, 8 When thou art bidden of any man to a wedding, sit not down in the highest room; lest a more honourable man thou be bidden of him; 9 And he that bade thee and him come and say to thee, Give this man place; and thou begin with shame to take the lowest room.

Luke 14: 10 But when thou art bidden, go and sit down in the lowest room; that when he that bade thee cometh, he may say unto thee, Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with thee. 11 For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted. Be not wise in your own conceits. Ro 1: 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools Pr 25: 14 Whoso boasteth himself of a false gift is like clouds and without rain. Pr 26: 12 Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit? there is more hope of a fool than of him Pr 14: 12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death Pr 16: 25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. James 3: 15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. 16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

Recompense to no man evil for evil Ro 12: 19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Pr 20: 22 ¶ Say not thou, I will recompense evil; evil but wait on the LORD, and he shall save thee. Matt 7: 12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. Matt 22: 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Provide things honest in the sight of all men. AV-good 83, better 7, honest 5, meet 2, goodly, beautiful, handsome, excellent, eminent, choice, surpassing, precious, useful, suitable, commendable, admirable Eph 4: 28 Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, good that he may have to give to him that needeth. Ro 14: 16 Let not then your good be evil spoken of: 2 Co 8: 21 Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men. 1 Th 4: 12 That ye may walk honestly toward them that are without, and that ye may have lack of nothing. 1 Pe 2: 12 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Ro 14: 19 Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, peace and things wherewith one may edify another. Ps 34: 14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. 1 Peter 3: 11 Mt 5: 9 Blessed are the peacemakers: peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God. Jas 3: 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, peaceable gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. Heb 12: 14 Follow peace with all men, men and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: If it be possible

2 Ti 2: 22 ¶ Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. 1 Th 5: 13 And to esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake. And be at peace among yourselves Col 3: 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, hearts to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful. Eph 4: 3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 2 Co 13: 11 ¶ Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; peace and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

Rom 12: 19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, yourselves but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Le 19: 18 Thou shalt not avenge, avenge nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I am the LORD. Pr 24: 29 Say not, I will do so to him as he hath done to me: I will render to the man according to his work Ro 13: 4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

De 32: 35 To me belongeth vengeance, vengeance and recompence; their foot shall slide in due time: for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste. Ps 94: 1 ¶ O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, belongeth shew thyself. 2 Th 1: 6 Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; you 7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, 8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Christ
