All Israel Will Be Saved Romans 11: 25 -26 a For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery—so that you will not be wise in your own estimation—that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in; 26 and so all Israel will be saved; just as it is written… Gospel of Grace Fellowship ggf. church 1

The Deliverer Comes From Zion Romans 11: 26 b-27 “THE DELIVERER WILL COME FROM ZION, HE WILL REMOVE UNGODLINESS FROM JACOB. 27 “THIS IS MY COVENANT WITH THEM, WHEN I TAKE AWAY THEIR SINS. ” Isaiah 59: 20 LXX And the deliverer will come for Zion’s sake, and remove ungodliness from Jacob. God’s Election Stands! Romans 11: 28 -29 From the standpoint of the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but from the standpoint of God’s choice they are beloved for the sake of the fathers; 29 for the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. Gospel of Grace Fellowship ggf. church 3

Applications 1. We should believe that national Israel will be restored by being brought to faith in Messiah. 2. We should understand that the restoration of Israel is necessary due to God’s election of the forefathers. Gospel of Grace Fellowship ggf. church 4

Objections to Israel’s Restoration They maintain that there will be a national restoration and conversion of Israel, that the Jewish nation will be reestablished in the Holy Land, and that this will take place immediately preceding or during the millennial reign of Jesus Christ. It is very doubtful, however, whether Scripture warrants the expectation that Israel will finally be re-established as a nation, and will as a nation turn to the Lord (Berkhof). National Israel Will Be Restored Zechariah 12: 9 -10 And in that day I will set about to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem. 10 “I will pour out on the house of David and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the Spirit of grace and of supplication, so that they will look on Me whom they have pierced; and they will mourn for Him, as one mourns for an only son, and they will weep bitterly over Him like the bitter weeping over a firstborn. National Israel Will Be Restored Ezekiel 37: 25 -26 They will live on the land that I gave to Jacob My servant, in which your fathers lived; and they will live on it, they, and their sons’ sons, forever; and David My servant will be their prince forever. 26 I will make a covenant of peace with them; it will be an everlasting covenant with them.
