Roles in Pre-production What is Pre-Production? Pre-Production is a process of fixing some elements in film like a play or film or another performance. There is three parts in production and that is : pre-production, production and post-production. Pre-production stops when all the planning is done e. g. when the context starts to get produced. Why is Pre-Production Important? • Pre-production is vital to all crew member on the production as it tells them exactly what is going on like for e. g. to know why they are shooting a certain way or why in a certain place. • Pre-production is also important because if you were working for a client as its important to show them exactly where you are and where your work is going to be heading. • Pre-production overall will help with the quality of an production just from organising it.
