Rogowski Coil Location The resolution for locating the Rogowski coil is to run the coil at the base of the MC taking advantage of the coil assembly studs to secure the Rogowski coil. WHAT COIL SHOULD IT BE MOUNTED TO? …. SEE NEXT FEW SLIDES.

Type-A facing Type-B NOT ENOUGH SPACE BETWEEN MC’S A close interface between Type. A and Type-B MC causes the base to be cut away.

Type-B facing Type-A IT “MAY” BE POSSIBLE AT THIS LOCATON; but could be too close. A close interface between Type. B and Type-A MC causes the base to be cut away.

Type-B facing Type-C NOT ENOUGH SPACE BETWEEN MC’S A close interface between Type. B and Type-C MC causes the base to be cut away.

Type-C facing Type-B A close interface between Type. C and Type-B MC causes the base to be cut away; no studs in this area. NOT ENOUGH SPACE BETWEEN MC’S

Type-C facing Type-C THERE APPERAS TO BE NO INTERFARENCE AT THIS LOCATON BUT THE INTERFACE IS ESTABLISHED AT THE FINAL MACHINE ASSEMBLY; not the preferred location.

Type-A facing Type-A THERE APPERAS TO BE NO INTERFARENCE AT THIS LOCATON. THE INTERFACE IS ESTABLISHED AT THE PERIOD ASSEMBLY. IF THE LOCATION BETWEEN TYPEA AND TYPE-B DOESN’T WORK THEN THIS WOULD BE THE PLACE TO LOCATE THE ROGOWSKI COIL.

The Rogowski coil will need to be routed around the MC lead block as shown in the illustration.
