Arrow Productions • Arrow productions story begins in a tiny theatre on London’s lower east side. In 1985, fresh from England, 23 -year old Kurt Launder amazed audiences with his magical hand-cranked films. The beggins were modest, but his movies grey larger and wildly popular and grey into a chain of theatres over the globe. • Arrow productions haven’t had the chance to release a huge film to smash the box office yet, but we have been offerend the chance to re -make the 1976 Rocky. We believe that this will kickstart our future and make our company even more successful.

Arrow Productions Logo I named my production company “Arrow Productions” the reason behind this

Arrow Productions Logo I named my production company “Arrow Productions” the reason behind this is because it gets straight to the point and gets the job done. I also named it this because it was very catchy and from conducting secondary research on the internet there were production companies with similar names to this, for example “Flash Film” or “Locomotive” are a similar type of direction I was heading for, as they are objects/ doing words. A locomotive is a fast moving transport which carries a lot of passengers/ equipment which could represent that the company has a lot of work. Flash film could represent similarly to my Arrow Productions as it gets to the point fast. I conducted primary research and the most votes was for the bow and arrow design. I have decided to go with this design as it stands out well, and also is on the right tracks to logo’s I have seen on the internet, it is a very minimalist design; for example summit entertainment is a picture of the peak of a mountain.

Synopsis • Rocky Balboa is a struggling small-time boxer trying to make the big

Synopsis • Rocky Balboa is a struggling small-time boxer trying to make the big time, as he works day-in day-out as a debt collector for a loan shark and fights in shady clubs for low-paid reward. Rocky is mocked and told that he’s nothing but a ‘bum’ as he hasn’t got much going for himself. When heavyweight champion Apollo Creed visits Philadelphia, his managers want to set up an exhibition match between Creed and a struggling boxer, touting the fight as a chance for a “nobody” to become a “somebody” and now has the chance to prove he is not worthless.

Age Rating • 40 years ago Rocky was rated a PG. I would now

Age Rating • 40 years ago Rocky was rated a PG. I would now rate it as a 12 A for the re-release after conducting research on the BBFC. The reason for this is because the film includes violent scenes, a minor drug scene and minor swearing used. For example “For a 12 or 12 A, the sort of violence to be expected is a long fight scene, but there should be no emphasis on injuries or blood, gory moments may be permitted if they can be justified by there context”. There is long fight scene included in the film when he fights appollo creed at the end.

Poster Designs • We would position the posters on bus stops, bus’s and online. We are hoping to advertise our re-release on every possible public place available to get the most recognition as possible. It is easier to promote the film more as a lot of the population go on the internet, than 40 years ago when this wasn’t availiable.
