Rock Demon The Rock Demon gets its popularity from the fact that it’s the first Demon ever, both plot-wise and game-wise! Unlike most Demons, it has very little elemental power, and instead relies on strong physical attacks to deal its damage. Rock Demons are moderately strong, nimble, fast, and smart, but a Rock Demon is one of the wisest Demons there is. The first summoned Rock Demon managed to not only figure out what had happened to it, but also how to take advantage of its situation. From that first Rock Demon came the knowledge of how to summon all different types of Demons. The Rock Demon’s Back Flip Kick lets it use a trick that most Demons can’t. If a Rock Demon fires a 1 -handed Weapon that only uses 1 reflex, and then drops it, the Rock Demon can use the hand it frees from dropping the Weapon to use Back Flip Kick, letting it deal the damage’s worth of 2 reflex and 3 hands, even though it only has 2 hands. Rock Demon 2 reflex 2 hands 35 EP Physical Attacks Back Flip Kick: Deals 10 damage, and flip a coin. If heads, deals 20 extra damage. 1 reflex 2 hands 1 Earth Powerup Spike: Deals 15 damage. 1 reflex 1 hand 1 Rock Powerup

Essential and Ancient Rock Demons As Rock Demons upgrade, their uniqueness becomes more obvious. As they upgrade, they gain large amounts of EP, but they never get any extra hands. The Essential and Ancient Rock Demons both have some of the same abilities they had in the original DFDD: the Essential Rock Demon’s trademark Recompose, and the Ancient Rock Demon’s devastating Volcano Cannon. The Ancient Rock Demon’s armpiece can spin, allowing it to change which directions the hands are pointing. The Ancient Rock Demon is the only living thing with that kind of body structure, making it even more unique than its earlier forms. Elder Rock Demon The Elder Rock Demon is the first Elder Demon to be summoned with the new summoning system. Since it was never summoned in the past, no one was sure what it would be like. To put it simply, the Elder Rock Demon defies expectations. The two volcano cannons on the Elder Rock Demon’s shoulders are connected to its back, and the Elder Rock Demon can bend them backwards and shoot streams of lava at the ground in order to fly. The dense rock that forms the Demon’s chest piece is harder than most metals. On top of all this, Elder Rock Demons have the most physical strength of any known Demon. When put to the test, an Elder Rock Demon will punch through anything, that gets in their way. Even diamonds have trouble standing up to that kind of punch! If heads, deals 10 damage to enemies in a small triangle including the target. Boulder Whirl: Deals 20 damage to 1 Special Attack: Rock Demon Cylindrical Psionics Specials Standard Rock Demons have two different Special Attacks. Cylindrical Psionics lets the Rock Demon make a single, strong attack against an enemy Demon, plus it provides a chance to hit a larger group. The drawback is that Cylindrical Psionics takes every last bit of the Rock Demon’s Reflex and Hands. Advanced Coordination is one of the best cards to use when your opponent clusters their Demons. It lets the Rock Demon hit a small triangle for up to 15 damage, a useful move against someone who uses too many Standard Demons. Also, the Roundhouse Kick leaves one of the Rock Demon’s hands free to hold a Weapon, just in case.

Refined Focus’ Seismic Slam requires three coin flips to get its full effect, but it’s one of the most flexible attacks in the game, since it can hit lines, diamonds, and a single target. Set it up correctly, and it can hit all seven of your opponent’s Demons! The Rock Demon is the first Demon to have a Special Edition card made for it. The special Rock Demon has stronger elemental powers, and has a new ability called Rising Earth Razor, which lets it use the ground beneath an opponent to attack. It tends to work best in a deck that has some regular Rock Demons as well.
