Historical Background Galveston, Texas �Island named after Bernardo de Gálvez y Madrid a Spanish colonial governor and general. � Galveston's first European settlements on the island were constructed around 1816 by French pirates to help the inexperienced Republic of Mexico fight Spain. �The Port of Galveston was established in 1825 by the Congress of Mexico following its successful independence from Spain.

Odyssey Academy �Established in 1999 by Founder, Robert Mosbacher �the Former Secretary of Commerce (George HW Bush) �Oilman. �Many of the board members were affiliated with the Johnson Space Center (NASA). Hence, the Mascot of choice became the “Rockets”.

If the Dean is not able to solve the issue or is the issue, I would talk to the Superintendent’s Secretary, then the Superintendent.
