High School Graduation Requirements In addition to the required credits, you need: A 2. 0 or higher unweighted GPA Passing scores on the Florida Standards Assessment (FSA) and the Algebra I End of Course Exam You must take the EOC’s for Geometry, Biology and US History Each One Any of these EOC’s is 30% of your course grade Online high school course. student who completes the 26 credits but does not meet the state GPA or testing requirements in FSA reading or Alg. 1 will receive a certificate of completion. This is not a diploma.

UNWEIGHTED GPA’S ARE CALCULATED USING ALL GRADES ON THE TRANSCRIPT. WEIGHTED GPA’S INCLUDE ANY COURSE THAT IS ACCELERATED LIKE: HONORS, PRE-IB, ADVANCED PLACEMENT, DUAL ENROLLMENT OR IB COURSES. COLLEGES MAY RECALCULATE A STUDENT’S GPA BASED ONLY ON ACADEMIC CLASSES FOR ADMISSION PURPOSES
How FSA and Algebra 1 EOC Can Effect Your Schedule If you have not received a passing score on the FSA test or Algebra I EOC, you could be required to take an Intensive Language and/or Math class.
Community Service All student volunteering must be preapproved. High School Volunteering can start the summer after 8 th grade. Please register first! All Bright Futures Awards require community service! FAS – 100 hours FMS – 75 hours GSV – 30 hours

Placement Tests for Math All students entering RHS who want to enroll in an HONORS level Geometry or Algebra 2 class will be required to take a placement test. The placement test is a 90 minute end of course Algebra 1 exam which the student will do without a calculator. Students do not need to register. Just show up on one of the dates indicated. Your School Counselor and Math Teachers will be notified of the dates.
