Older persons housing � 15% of all units meet Part 3 of Building Regs. � Definition ; � For the purposes of this agreement the definition of Bungalow housing provision is as follows: � A unit of accommodation that provides a principle bedroom and bathroom at ground floor, in addition to and without compromising kitchen/dining and living room provision , all of which shall be designed to meet national space standards. All internal arrangements at ground floor level and external arrangements shall also accord with specifications of category 2 housing as defined in M 4(2) of Approved Document M (volume 1 2015) of The Building regulations 2010. For the avoidance of doubt the ground floor accommodation shall possess the ability to be habitable without necessitating the need for access to upper floor accommodation by the user.
Delivery of bungalows � 12 affordable bungalows 17/18 & 14 in 18/19 �Policy also requires market bungalows provided to encourage downsizing. �Delivery supported by robust needs evidence �Community Housing Fund is supporting delivery of 3 bungalows at Chipping the Community Land Trust . The affordable offer is 7 bungalows on site a mix of affordable homeownership and affordable rent.
Self Build Register � 26 applications in the first year �Many additional applications that were not approved. �Oct introduced a local connection requirement and an administration fee. �Received a number of applications for development of self build plots – no approvals to date.
Homeless Strategy 2018 -2021 �Currently out to consultation �Strategy reflects the changes introduced with the new legislation Homeless Reduction Act 2018 �Duty to refer – Oct 2018 specifies the public authorities with a responsibility to refer a homeless person. �Move on accommodation continues to be the main challenge.
