Materials Big book version of Goodnight Moon, by Margaret Wise Brown. n Chart paper/marker n Power point presentation n

Activity Introduce book, Goodnight Moon, to the students. Take time to look at each page and have the students talk about what they see on each page. n Present the story to the class through sign language and oral reading. Point out the picture of the objects mentioned throughout the story. n

Re-Read the story. Write down the sets of rhyming words on chart paper. n Have the students read the groups of rhyming words on the chart and again on the list provided. n Review the rhyming words with the pictures provided in the presentation. n Students can match rhyming words on the presentation n
