Rho Eta Chapter
v Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. was founded on January 16, 1920 on the campus of Howard University in Washington D. C. It was founded by five wonderful and gracious women; Arizona Cleaver, Myrtle Tyler, Viola Tyler, Fannie Pettie and Pearl Neal. These five women are known as our 5 Pearls.
The Radiant Essence Rho Eta Chapter was charted on April 20, 1976 by 15 undergraduate women.

v v v Z-HOPE: Zetas Helping Other People Excel ZOL: Zeta Organizational Leadership Program Stork’s Nest: Program designed to promote prenatal care participation and healthy behaviors during the pregnancy.
v Purpose Rho Eta seeks to uphold the principles of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. on the campus of California State University, Los Angeles. v Mission Rho Eta strives to represent the essence of finer womanhood by representing the ideals of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. , demonstrating a strong will to serve the campus community as well as the community at large. Excelling in the academic arena by recruiting talented young women who are faithful, ambitious, enthusiastic, and sociable.
v Endeavor v v Rho Eta searchers for ladies who are representatives of Zeta Women exemplify Finer Womanhood, Academic Excellence, Community Consciousness, and Sisterly Devotion. Vision v Rho Eta undertakes to: v. Continue to build a chapter based on Unity, Love, and Respect. v. Be a vehicle for education and empowerment of minority women. v. Provide a voice that projects the vision of Scholarship, Community Service, Sisterhood, and Finer Womanhood. v. Inspire and motivate other young women to pursue their interests, achieve their goals, and graduate.
