Goal of Activities • Provide new information based on breaking medical news, new data presented at medical meetings, and an interactive series of cases on current management strategies on the most up-to-date evidence-based medicine and clinical trial results in ankylosing spondylitis.

Learning Objectives The findings of our needs assessment are the foundation for our learning objectives. Upon completion of the series, participants should be able to: • Describe the importance of early diagnosis of ankylosing spondylitis, and recent advances in our understanding of mechanisms that may serve as targets of therapy. • Evaluate criteria that have been developed to assess treatment response in ankylosing spondylitis, delineate how these criteria can be used to risk-stratify patients in clinical practice, and consider therapeutic treatment options that improve patient outcomes.
