Are you clear about the use of active and passive voice? This presentation details for you the way sentences are structured, the main elements which form a sentence, and the changes produced when you transform a sentence from active to passive. Usually, we use active voice to talk to people or express our opinions; however, scientific texts, academic writing and news, among others types of written texts, use passive voice. This material was developed considering usual mistakes made by students of previous generations. Please take notes of those aspects which you don`t understand.
