Balances and Supports Balance: 1) A static gymnastics or dance position, which holds the body in a distinct shape. 2) A state of equilibrium or be in equilibrium. Support (spotter): 1) To aid a performer in the completion of a stunt. 2) Spotting helps the performer get the feeling of the stunt. Most importantly for safety.
