1 - Consider how Ford case study is relevant to chapter 6? It is about marketing, because ford understand how marketing is important to reach customers. Ford Company focus on how to reach the customers and more distribution, through marketing strategy and planning especially on company brands. Marketing occur before and after selling events. , marketing combine of many activities , like advertisement and distribution. Ford sign a sponsorship agreement with UEFA Champion and it has 2 objectives: 1) to reinforce and further build ford brand. 2) to achieve good connection between ford and potential customers. Ch 10 p 144 Manufacturing systems must be adaptive to survive through the control system which consider to be a dynamic process to ensure efficiently meet the system objective. Manufacturing system at all levels has to see controller function, information flow system, computers, …. 4 - “Gaining competitive advantages through logistic” Explain ? Ch 11 p 153 – 155 To gain competitive advantages we need to go back to the value chain, and focus on both primary and support activities. Through organization performance of activities more efficiently and in a unique way this will promote value to the customers.
