Example: Little Red Riding Hood Original 1. Little red riding hood is instructed by her mother to take some cakes/medicine to her poorly grandmother. 2. In the woods, she is followed by a wolf and when he asks her where she is going, she naively tells him the truth. 3. The wolf eats the grandmother and then poses as her. LRH asks the wolf questions about his voice, eyes, hands and teeth. 4. The wolf eats LRH, but a woodcutter saves both LRH and her grandmother by cutting open the wolf’s stomach. Horror 1. Upon a desolate, old heath stood a rickety cottage surrounded by dead woodland. Like the wails of newborns, the chilling cries of petrified preys filled the demonised air. Toiling hard within the cottage, a palefaced women and her red-hooded daughter ignored the warning cries. They listened hard to the roar of the scorching furnace instead - allowing its heat to engulf their ignorant minds. Flickers of red danced off of the furnace (almost like they wanted to become one with the hood). The woman smiled at her daughter - a thin, papery smile – and then nodded towards the basket of snotcoloured cordials. Reluctantly, the girl gripped its handle and fastened her hood like a noose.
