Results from Survey These are my results from my survey

Question 1 Are college trips beneficial to your education? If yes, what subjects? Why? Here are the results I got from question 1, “are college trips beneficial to your education? If yes, what subjects? Why? ” This shows me that majority of students are interested in trips and think they are beneficial to their chosen subjects. This is something I will include in my corporate video as the results show that most will be interested in finding out about what trips are available to them.

Question 2 What quality of teaching would you expect at college? These are the results for question 2, I asked “what quality of teaching would you expect at college? ” the response I got showed me that majority of people want the quality to be outstanding. In my corporate video this is something I want to include to advertise the quality of the teaching to show future students what it is like. As the majority of people said they were looking for outstanding quality, this is what I will focus on in my video.

Question 3 what facilities are more important to you? The results for question 3 “what facilities are more important to you? ” show that a sports hall and photographic dark room are two of the most popular facilities a school or college could offer. This shows me that in my video it is important to show the facilities of the college and specifically the most important and popular ones. The second most important facilities are the ICT equipment and playing fields. I am going to feature each of these in my video because they are what student to be important facilities to have to them but also because they show a range of equipment and subjects throughout the college.

Question 4 Do you think that enrichment is important? If yes, what sports would you be interested in? These are the results I got for question 4, “do you think that enrichment is important? If yes, what sports would you be interested in? ” I wanted to ask this question to get a view off students to whether or not that think the enrichment program is important to them and if it was what are the sports they would be interested in and want to know about. From the results I got most thought that enrichment is important and specified which sports they would be interested in. I am going to use this information in my video and use the enrichment program to advertise the wide range of sports and activities offered at the Henley college.

Question 5 What courses are you mostly interested in? Here I asked “what courses are you mostly interested in? ” I wanted to find this out, so I could focus on showing the more popular ones in my video. The results show that majority are interested in Btec courses however Alevels are still important and popular therefore in my video I will need to show a wide range of both. This is useful information for my corporate video because I now know what course people are wanting to know information about and thinking of doing.

Question 6 how important is the quality of teaching? For question 6 I asked “how important is the quality of teaching? ” The response I got showed that not one single person thought that the quality of teaching was not very important. Most people agreed that the quality of teaching is very important. I am going to use this in my corporate video to show the importance of the quality of teaching at the Henley college.

Question 7 Are you more interested in the 'arts' subjects or 'core' subjects? For question 7 I asked “are you more interested in the ‘arts’ subjects or ‘core’ subjects? I asked this question to find out what the majority of people are more interested. The results show that the majority are interested in is the Arts. I am going to use this information in my corporate video by focussing on the arts subjects but also involving core subjects as people will be interested in them too.

Question 8 To you, do you think that college should be more focused on social aspects or academic subjects? And why? Next I asked the question, “ do you think that college should be more focused on social aspects or academic subjects? And why? ” I wanted to ask this question as I feel it is important to talk not only about the academic subjects and courses but also say the social sides of college and see if people agreed with me. The results show that more people agreed social aspects are important but that academic should be focused on as well because it is still for your learning. This has helped me because now I know for my video I will say a bit about both and advertise both.

Question 9 How important are the sports facilities? for question 9 I asked “how important are the sports facilities? ” I wanted to ask this to find out if sports is important to teenagers and see if the facilities would be something they were interested in and wanting to know about. The results show that majority think that sports facilities are very important. Although some said that it is not very important the majority said it was so this is something I will include in my corporate video to advertise the sports facilities available.

Question 10 How important is the social side to college? The last question I asked is “how important is the social side to college? ” I wanted to ask this because although I asked early if social or academic aspects were more important and found out that most people said both. I then wanted to see how many people said social aspects were very important or incredibly important so that I now know how much I should mention in my video. The results of this question show me that most agree that they are very important and a few think that the social side to college is incredibly important. I am going to use this in my video by explaining the academic subjects but then focus on the social side as that is a big part to college life.

Conclusion In conclusion for all of the questions I have asked I will use the results in my corporate video and take in to consideration what future students are interested in. I want them to here the information that they are interested in and what would attract them to the Henley College. Overall this survey has helped my conclude what future students look for in their ideal college.
