So on the seventh day he rested from all his work. 3 God blessed the seventh day and made it a holy day. He made it holy because on that day he rested. He rested from all the work he had done in creating the world.

None of their enemies defeated them. The Lord allowed the Israelites to defeat every enemy. 45 He kept every promise he had made to the Israelites. No promises failed. Each one came true.

Each man was sad angry because his sons and daughters had been taken as prisoners. But David found strength in the Lord his God.
