What is Primary research? • Primary research is when you find research yourself. • It is carried out to answer specific issues or questions. • It can involve questionnaires, surveys or interviews with individuals or small groups. • Primary research also takes longer to conduct and produce however you do get a more reliable result.

What is Secondary research? • Secondary research is where someone else has found the research which you have used. • Secondary research makes use of information previously researched for other purposes and is available to the public. • It is a type of research that has already been compiled, gathered, organized and published by others.
