Developing User Interfaces for Drones to Imitate Techniques Used by Cinematographers DJI Phantom 4 Advanced Quadcopter Drone The objective of this study is to describe the techniques used to create a drone application that can follow its subject without the use of GPS, but instead through the utilization of a mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet computer. This will be accomplished through the researching of ways to autonomously pilot a drone for purposes such as shooting cinematic shots, as well as through the development of a user interface for the DJI Phantom 4 Advanced Quadcopter Drone which will be used to imitate these cinematography techniques.
