Research Presentation Directions Follow the instructions on this document to complete your Research Project Presentation. You will submit this Powerpoint to your Teacher/CRA via Drop. Box. Please keep in mind the following things before beginning: • ALL SENSITIVE OR PROTECTED HEALTH INFORMATION MUST BE APPROVED BY WVU-IRB. (example: blood pressure, weight, sex, drug use, etc. ). • ANY RESEARCH ON VERTEBRATE ANIMALS MUST BE APPROVED BY WVU- IACUC. • ANY SURVEYS MUST BE APPROVED BY YOUR CRA BEFORE BEGINNING THE PROJECT. Survey projects must include interventions, not just surveys. Surveys used for background information or justification for project also HAVE to be approved before they are given out. • Delete all guide slides and words before you submit your final presentation.

Important Dates Research Presentation Original Doc Students/teachers submit Doc 1 on October 15 via Drop. Box. If there is a problem with 1 Drop. Box let your CRA know as soon as possible. Return of CRAs will return Doc 1 with comments no latter than November 3 rd through Drop. Box. Doc 1 Revisions Approved Doc 1 Begins when your CRA returns Doc 1 until Doc 1 is approved. Revisions will continue through Drop. Box. All revisions must be complete BEFORE January 15. All projects methods and/or surveys must be approved BEFORE January 15. Failure to do so will result in a formal letter sent home from your CRA and field site. You will also have to appear in front of your Local Governing Board.
