Research of titles. Film Title Design is and always has been an essential part of any motion picture, when watching a film the titles introduce you to what the genre of the film is, whom is starring in it ect. But with a fantasy film’s titles they have a deeper meaning, some have a narrator telling you what the film is about (Bedtime Stories, 2008) and some have animations of the genre and objects. Some of the best films in the fantasy genre which have very good titles are; Pan’s Labyrinth, The Wizard of Oz and Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

Research into target audiences. The target audience for my film is 8 -30 year olds, with both sex’s. I have chosen such a gapped age range because people may be interested in different things, with what appeals to them. I have researched into what is the top rated films for certain age groups within the fantasy genre; Under 18 Twilight 9. 38 18 to 24 Twilight 8. 82 25 to 34 Kingdom of Heaven 9. 27 35 to 44 Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit 9. 67 45 to 54 Finding Nemo 8. 93 This helps me because I am able to link with these sorts of films and compare them to how well I think mine will be with my target audience.
