Sponsored Programs Division • A campus hotspot for university contracts (>300/year) • Processes any external Grant or Award before it is sent out to the sponsor • As the notice of Award is received by the university, a “just in time” process is activated to ensure all compliance components are in place • The Division sets up the fund and budget in OU’s “Banner” financial data base system • Handles all post-award activities including: approval of all expenditures, billing, reporting, fund status, and closing
