Objectives o Experience in engineering works o Learn how to work in a professional environment o Apply technical knowledge in practice 2

Registration rules o The course runs only during summer semester. o Eligible students must be at least in the 3 rd year and have accumulated at least 64 credits at the first semester of that year. o Concurrent registration of other courses is not allowed. o If you get I (incomplete) in the 2 nd semester, you must resolve it within the first two weeks of the summer semester. 3

Registration timeline o Register at www. reg. chula. ac. th May 9 -11, 2017 o Pay tuition fee (4, 500 Baht) via SCB account May 24 -28, 2017 o Pay program fee (17, 500/56, 500 Baht) at ISE office May 24 -28, 2017 4

Course requirements o Attend internship orientation o Training period must cover at least 280 working hours/ 35 working days/ 7 working weeks o On-time submission of all related documents n FIT 3 (information of training organization) n FIT 1 (biweekly report) Failure to comply will automatically results in “U” grade. 5

Due date o FIT 3 (information of training organization) within 7 days after starting the training o FIT 1 (biweekly report) every two weeks after starting the training o FIT 2 (supervisor’s evaluation) within 2 weeks after the last day of training o Full report within 2 weeks after the last day of training, but no later than Aug 2, 2017 10

Grading criteria 1. FIT 3 10 points 2. Reports 2. 1 Biweekly report (FIT 1) 10 points 2. 2 Full report 40 points 3. Supervisor’s evaluation (FIT 2) 40 points You need at least 60 points to get “S”. 12

Financial aids o For students going abroad: up to 30, 000 THB for air fare & visa fee. n Strictly follow the financial guideline o For students interning in Bangkok/Nontaburi/ Patumtani/Samutprakarn: 1, 000 THB allowance. o For students interning in other provinces: n 1, 500 THB allowance n Up to 2, 000 THB actual accommodation cost n Up to 1, 000 THB actual transportation cost 13
