People associate the sophisticated and elegant characteristic of the actress with the brand the fragrance. The brand itself is associated with style and glamour.

Representation Devices Majority of attention that young people get in terms of the media, most of the time is usually negative. Young people are often only recognized for negative behaviour. For example, during the riots in 2011, young peoples anarchist behaviour caused outrage. Young people were presented as being hooligans and criminals. This relates to theory of how select/repeat aspects of intricate social relations in order to represent them as fixed, natural, obvious and ready to consume which distorts from the reality as not all young people behave in this manner.
